The Gospel of John
The Gospel of John is a part of the Bible, the Word of God. In this Gospel Jesus Christ is presented as the Son of God. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
In addition to the Gospel of John, this booklet also includes a letter to the Romans. In this letter, God is shown as the sovereign judge who knows, exposes and has to judge the sin of all people. But God offers every man complete justification for his guilt. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) Through the one sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who bore the punishment for sins, everyone who believes in Him and confesses his guilt is freed from guilt and righteous before God.
